This Carbide dill is developed for aluminium and excellent for cast and wrought aluminium alloys. Drilling depth of up 5 x d will not need centering due to its three flutes and reduced chisel geometry. The tool is self Centering providing a straight hole, best roundness and excellent surface quality. Spot drilling is only recommended on irregular, rough or inclined surfaces. Most notably the drill impresses with its high drilling parameters and long tool life. The drilling is coated with a like diamond "DLC" giving fantastic tool life.
